The American Indian College Fund (commonly known as The College Fund) is a Native-led nonprofit founded in 1989 and based in Denver, Colorado, that provides scholarships, programmatic support, and institutional funding to American Indian and Alaska Native students and tribal colleges to promote higher education, cultural preservation, and community empowerment.
The Native Forward Scholars Fund (formerly Native Forward) is a Native-led nonprofit founded in 1969 and headquartered in Albuquerque, New Mexico, that awards scholarships and holistic support services—totaling approximately $15 million annually—to American Indian and Alaska Native students pursuing undergraduate, graduate, and professional degrees, empowering over 20,000 scholars from 500+ tribes to strengthen tribal leadership and higher education equity
