Hey! I'm Kenzie.
Meet Kenzie:
Mackenzie Westfield is a Master's-level Counseling Psychology clinician who recently graduated from Robert Morris University with a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology. She provides individual therapy to children, adolescents, and adults, drawing on experience in outpatient, intensive outpatient, and inpatient settings. Throughout her training and clinical work, she has supported clients experiencing anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, life transitions, behavioral challenges, and a variety of other mental health concerns.
Mackenzie's approach is person-centered and integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with psychoeducation to help clients better understand themselves, identify unhelpful thought patterns, and develop practical tools for lasting change. She strives to create a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel safe, heard, and empowered. She believes that therapy is not only about feeling better in the present but also about building resilience, fostering personal growth, and becoming the healthiest, most authentic version of yourself.
She has a special interest in working with student-athletes at the high school and collegiate levels, as well as with younger children. As a former collegiate athlete, Mackenzie brings a unique understanding of the pressures surrounding performance, identity, injury, and life transitions in sports. She offers both in-person and virtual therapy sessions and is happy to integrate faith into counseling for clients who desire a Christian perspective as part of their therapeutic journey.
Mackenzie also has a special interest in working with individuals navigating substance use and recovery. She is passionate about providing compassionate, evidence-based care that supports clients in building resilience, developing healthy coping strategies, and creating meaningful, lasting change throughout the recovery process.
